Weekly videos on art, literature, architecture and design are produced by Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, Denmark.
Louisiana Channel is supported by Den A.P. Møllerske Støttefond, Ny Carlsbergfondet, C.L. Davids Fond og Samling and Fritz Hansen.
Louisiana Channel is a non-profit website based at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Humlebæk, Denmark. With Louisiana Channel as a platform, Louisiana supplies culture to the Net that extends beyond the museum’s own events. The Louisiana team produces videos about art and culture ongoing, and new videos are posted every week.
Louisiana Channel contributes to the permanent development of the museum as a cultural platform and wants to enhance the sense of the importance of art and culture. We see Louisiana Channel as a proposal for a part of a museum in tune with the 21st century, which is also able to hold the attention and interest of a new generation in cultural heritage, a thoughtful present and an ambitious future.

I love her advice. She's great. I hope that I can make some work at the very least. I'm not afraid to fail. I failed all my life. Glass of water exercise she is referring to is a mindful exercise to be more aware as an artist Of the atmosphere and experience around you.

I don't know the right way to hold a brush. Who is it that knows how to hold a brush better than the one that's doing the painting? LOL. Hold the brush the way you want to uncomfortable to you in (your o w n hand.) and paint the way you want to. Who knows it might turn out better and the person that says how to hold a brush. LOL..... what makes him or her an authority and how to hold a brush not the whole world should obey. LOL...?
I feel the same way that he does about the land. Of course I know all of us can't do that we have to have a place to live. But I live on an undeveloped piece of property and I hope to keep it that way. The animals the right to live also in a way that they supposed to freedom in their own environment.. for those of us that can and will keep the land untouched for future Generations.

Why do you fail to show the entire painting in full screen? Only the detail shots are full screen. And you, of course. But Nolde's composition, the most important aspect of his work, is never shown full screen, or in focus. Close-ups of the paint, but not of the painting's composition. Too bad, and hard to understand.
